Short Study Program for Foreign Students!
Musicians Institute Japan (MI Japan) is happy to announce our new short study program for students from outside of Japan beginning in April, 2010. In the last few years the influence of Japanese music and Japanese pop culture has started to spread outward around the world - so that means that MI Japan and MI Hollywood are in a unique position to work together to develop a new level of education that draws on both the tradition and the innovation of both countries. As a recognized leader in music education MI Japan stands ready to help students realize their dreams and attain their goals.
For students living outside of Japan who wish to take this short study course here are a few details you need to know.
- Although MI Japan cannot issue a student visa for this course you can study on a three-month travel/tourist visa as the course is just under three months in length.

http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/short/novisa.html - This program is currently being offered in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Courses include guitar, vocal, bass guitar, and drums.
- Our Tokyo branch is also offering an Independent Artist Program and a DJ Creator program.
- You can begin the program in either April, 2010 or August, 2010. The fee for this program is 600,000 yen. (The fee includes all materials and building usage. )
- As all Musicians Institute Japan classes are taught in Japanese you should be able to speak and converse in Japanese at a reasonable level.
