■Program overview

Join the Uncore Short Program which is three months short program and made for foreign students.
Students can take 16period from non-core classes.
Students should be able to speak Japanese enough to understand and achieve the class goal.
You don't need a student visa because the program is three months long.

・We take English questions once in a week.
・One period is 50minutes long.
・You can take classes such as "Open counselling", "Seminar".
・We provide housing informations for students.

■Program features　

・Live Playing Workshop 【4periods per a week】
You become a member of the band, and play songs together on the stage.
You'll be learning how to become a part of ensemble.

・Open Counseling【2periods per a week】
It's the class made for free questions. You can ask about anything you want.
Your playing technique, Reading skills, you name it.
2periods per a week is necessary as your instrument's technology and also free to go others.

・Elective 【4periods per a week】
You choose elective classes every terms. Each classes have different title or theme.
Un-related to your core classes. Basically type free.
　
　
・Open Counseling in English 【one periods per a week】
This class is mede to help students to better understand the English teaching material,
lyrics and pronunciation. Also help understanding Japanese for foreign students.

・Free Selection 【2～3periods per a week】
 A general term of classes that students can freely take.
Include, jam session, lots of musical seminars and etc...many things that you don't want to miss.

・Weekly private 【One period per a week(30min)】
One on one free style class. You can ask questions,and an instructor will be there only for you to answer.
Instructor have some tasks to do sometimes for your challenge。

■Length
This program is under three months in length.
MI Fukuoka has a trimester system that divides the academic year into three terms
and each term consists of approximately 10 weeks of lessons.
Students will have great one-term-experience.

■VISA
Although MI Fukuoka cannot support a student visa for this program you can study
on a three-month travel/tourist visa as the course is just less than three months in length.

■Offering Courses
This program is currently being offered in Fukuoka and includes guitar, vocal, bass guitar and drum.

■Admission Eligibility
1.Completed application form
2.Adequate Japanese language skill
Students must speak, write, and read in Japanese at a level that ensures the students’ability to benefit
from the materials taught in class and to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

3.Recording requirement
Record your own speaking voice with a short narrative explaining why you wish to attend MI Fukuoka in JAPANESE and submit it in CD, MD, or Tape format.
